Mr. J. M. Taneja, CEO of the Bank is well qualified with graduation and post graduation in Economics and MBA, CAIIB (both parts) and passed various certification courses. He brings in the Bank over three decades of Managerial and Sr. Managerial and Top Leadership diverse experience in retail banking and financial sector. He has worked as Probationary Officer in Bank of Baroda, and also in Unit Trust of India as AGM. He also carries to his credit rich exposure to PSU, Pvt and Coop. Enterprise. He also has good exposure in various Departments, in Banks, Pvt Sectors Capital Market and with last assignment as CEO of Central Coop. Bank, Raipur prior to joining the Kangra Bank.

He has good exposure to RBI compliance, Assets and Liabilities Management, Operations, Auditing, Legal, HRD and General Administration, Technology, Capital Market primary and secondary. He has worked and travelled several places in India and visited abroad. He believes in doing six sigma quality works which entails a devotion of little extra time. NABARD Chhattisgarh appreciated his way of working and finding solutions. He joined The Kangra Cooperative Bank Limited as CEO on 04/02/2019.
