Mr Laxmi Dass was elected as a Vice Chairman of the Bank in the election held  on 31/8/2008 for full Board wherein entire Board including Chairman and Vice Chairman have been elected unopposed. Earlier to this he has already been holding the posion of Vice Chairman for which he was elected for three years on 21/08/2005. He has been  associated with the Bank for the past 18 years  as a shareholder. Mr Laxmi Dass was born  on 10.09.1947  in village Ujeh ,PO Bathu Tipri , District Kangra, Himachal Pardesh and holds a post graduate degree in Political Science from H. P. University .Besides  being a good orator he is a widely travelled person with rich and varied  country wide experience and exposure in the  field of Khadi Gramodyog and Village Industries and is an active activist  patron of this movement in the country  He held many top and important positions  in all India level organizations of Govt.
