Mr.
Attar Chand Parmar was elected , as Chairman , in the AGM held on
August 31,2008 called for conducting election of the entire Board of
Directors wherein entire Board including Chairman and Vice-chairman
have been elected unopposed. Mr. Attar Chand Parmar was already
holding the position of Chairman prior to August 31, 2008 for which
he was elected as Chairman on August,21 2005 for three years.
Earlier to this he had been holding the position of Vice -Chairman
since June 17,2001. He has been associated with this Bank for more
than 25 years ( Joined as member on 15/03/1983) and has been the
Director of this Bank for more than two years ,
Chairman for four full terms of 3 years each , Co-opted expert
Director for a year and Vice-Chairman for more than 3 years.
He
was born on July 02, 1954 in a small village named ‘Bhadrohi-Jamni’

place REWALSAR, in Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh,He
completed his Graduation in commerce from Govt. College Mandi (H.P.)
in 1974 and post Graduation in Commerce from D.S.B. College ,
Nainital in 1976. |

He joined a small commercial organization in Delhi immediately after his
Post-Graduation as an Accountant and served the same for 2.5 years. He
joined CMC Limited , a leading IT company ( erstwhile Govt. of India
enterprise and now part of TATA Group of companies after its
disinvestment made by Govt. of India.) , in 1978.
During his association with the above two organizations, he had worked
at various levels in Finance and Accounts and currently holds the
position of Deputy General Manager – (Finance &Accounts ) since
January 01, 2000.He has been heading Finance & Accounts department of
Northern Region of CMC Limited for the last 17 years.
He has 32 years of rich experience in Finance and Accounts and
has
more than 18 years of rich experience in Co-operative Management. He
has been the pioneer in bringing IT revolution in The Kangra
Co-operative Bank and made this Bank Capital’s 1st
co-operative Bank having its all branches fully computerized. During
his tenure as Chairman , The Kangra Co-operative Bank spread its
operation across the city and opened five new branches. Moreover, during
his chairmanship Bank reconstructed its own building at Pahar Ganj and
purchased three floors in Janak Puri and one more Building in Jagatpuri
( trans Yamuna ) thereby giving a feel of confidence and comfort among
its customers about bank’s creditability and viability in the market.
This web site is also a result of his initiative. He has been rendering
his valuable self less services to this Bank ever since he became the
Director of this Bank way back in 1990.
